"rock'in on presents ROCK IN JAPAN FES. 2023" is an outdoor summer festival held by rock'in. This edition was held from December 28 to 31, 2022 at Chiga City Soga Sports Park (Chiba, Japan).  Morning Musume.'23 performed on the last day of the event (August 13, 2023) at 13:20 on the main stage, GRASS STAGE.

It was the first time Morning Musume.'23 performed their new "23 Ver." of past songs on stage.

The weather was unstable and there were passing rains, but when Morning Musume. arrived on stage, the sunlight started to shine and a cool breeze blew, so it turned into the best "outdoor festival sky", which I really enjoyed. Wearing their outfits which made them look like angels descending from the blue sky, the girls that I love sang "Aozora ga Itsumademo Tsuzuku You na Mirai de Are!" (TN: the song title means "Let the future be the one where the blue sky extends forever!")... #RIJF2023

Rockin was really the best... I was in the 6th row and very close to Homa, Riley, Ponpon and Yokoyan, but Homa was so cute she looked like a doll Riley is a genius at controlling her facial expressions, and Fukuchan's sweat is really the most beautiful in the world #MorningMusume. #MorningMusume23 #RIJF2023

Morning Musume.'23

Everyone was so strong during HEAVY GATE!! I lost my heart to Chel, who was the most beautiful... And the setlist was fire!! Lullaby!! Oda-chan's exploding beautiful voice in the latter... My ears were in heaven!! And of course, later on, Mei-chan during "Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke"~ she was the best!! I could see the members very clearly!! I'm super happy #RIJF2023

During Morning Musume.'23's "Happy Summer Wedding", Yokoyama Reina-chan sang the "Isshou kenmei oyakokou shitai" part with a smile on her face, and I almost cried at this moment #RIJF2023

I got to be at the front row for ANGERME (10th position) so I could almost see them from the middle I jumped, cheered and danced a lot, so I was already tired in the morning (lol) Morning Musume.'23 did not sing much current songs, yet there were a lot of nostalgic songs so the tension grew～ If everyone surrounding you dances, you dance as well, right?～(lol) #RIJF2023 #ANGERME #MorningMusume23

It was my first time seeing #MorningMusume23! I enjoyed the atmosphere at the beginning even though I didn't know the recent songs they played, but when they sang "Happy Summer Wedding", "LOVE Machine" and "Ren'ai Revolution 21", the excitement in the crowd suddenly doubled!

Those famous songs are still loved by people no matter the generation they're part of, aren't they? I'm sure they always increase the tension

It was Fukumura Mizuki (aka Fukuchan)'s Rockin! The setlist felt the 25th anniversary, and we could feel it was packed with very special feelings. Older sister Nakazawa-san said "Happy Summer Wedding"'s speech part when she was 27, and Fukuchan is also currently that age, right? Fukuchan also has become such a great leader. #MorningMusume23 #FukumuraMizuki #RIJF2023
